New Work Alert!
I’m excited to share my latest project—a fully procedural trimsheet material inspired by Roman architecture! This piece was created in Substance Designer, with a few shapes crafted in Illustrator, and brought to life in a custom environment I modeled to showcase its usage.
🎨 The Vision
The goal was to create a trimsheet that embodies the elegance and history of Roman architecture. I started by diving deep into historical references, gathering materials that helped shape the design. From there, I planned the key shapes to include in the trimsheet, built pattern and shape generators, and crafted a base marble material to layer and merge with the trimsheet. I carefully selected colors true to the era, ensuring historical accuracy.
